About Jane - Psychologist, Coach and Supervisor

I run my own company in Singapore, where I’ve been working for 12 years as a Clinical Psychologist specializing in adult mental health, as well as a Life, Executive, and Team Coach, and Coaching Supervisor.

After qualifying as a clinical psychologist in 2004, I spent four years working in the National Health Service in the UK. During this time, I specialized in adult mental health, working across primary and secondary mental health care services. I also worked on acute psychiatric wards, where I focused on clients with severe and enduring mental illness.

From 2008 to 2016, I continued my practice in Singapore. I worked in private practice and at the Institute of Mental Health, where I served as a Visiting Consultant Clinical Psychologist with the EPIP team. I also lectured at James Cook University. Between 2016 and 2020, I relocated to Helsinki, Finland, where I established my own private practice.

Since returning to Singapore in 2020, I’ve expanded my role to include training and supervision with the Academy of Solution Focused Training. I teach Level 1 and 2 SFBT training, including solution-focused supervision for therapists. I also serve as a trainer at Solutions Academy in Germany, where I teach an EMCC-accredited Solution-Focused Coaching Supervision course.

As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with 20 years of experience, I’m proud to be an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Master Solution-Focused Practitioner with the International Alliance of Solution Focused Teaching Institutes (IASTI). I’m a Registered Psychologist and Approved Supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society. In my coaching practice, I am a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and a Senior Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

With over 18 years of experience as a clinical supervisor and 6 years as a coaching supervisor, I offer both individual and group supervision. I’m also passionate about teaching Solution-Focused Supervision to therapists and coaches. I am an Approved Supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society and an Accredited Coach Supervisor with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

I have a keen interest in cross-cultural work and am the co-editor of Solution Focused Practice in Asia (2016). I recently completed editing two books: Solution Focused Coaching in Asia (2024) and Solution Focused Coaching Supervision (2024). You can read more about my publications here.
